Events
This portion of the site is designed to organize events that will be hosted by the PTSA. Each event may have a list of resources attached to it. Resources can be anything from a volunteer who will help setup for the event or an item like 3 pounds of potato salad that someone needs to bring. The purpose of events is to clearly define what volunteering to provide the resource entails. Members may signup to volunteer after first reading what they will be expected to do.

Forums
This portion of the site is designed for members of the PTSA to communicate by posting and replying to messages. It will serve as a central repository for information about the PTSA. It is also a vehicle for the board to get feedback from all members outside of general meetings or mailings. Each committee has their own forum topic and members will eventually be registered for the committees and events they will be participating in. The forum features many capabilities including:
All members of Friends of Country Day will be able to participate in discussion about various events and be notified if something changes that is important to them. |
