The Friends of Country Day Organization is a not for profit organization made up of parents, teachers, students and faculty from Country Day School.  The purpose of the organization is to foster a warm, friendly community atmosphere within the school, with a special emphasis on volunteerism and civic responsibility. 

To accomplish that purpose we conduct regular fundraising activities such as holiday wreath sales and a winter art auction\social. When our kids do a walk-a-thon, they walk not only for Country Day School, but also for The Sallie House kids. Proceeds from these fundraising efforts have gone towards large capital improvements at the school such as the school forum and the outdoor sport court as well as small but very much needed items such as wireless microphones for use in school plays.  In addition, proceeds have been used to provide school enrichment funds which teachers and faculty can use for classroom supplies, field trips, or special events.  Finally, fundraising proceeds are on occasion used for special needs on a case-by-case basis.
